The Endowment is our Promise of a Future

Since 1958, Manitobans have found camaraderie, enlightenment and entertainment at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.  Our theatre embodies the qualities that define Manitobans: an appreciation of excellence, an appetite for diverse ideas and perspectives and a need to connect with one another. Manitobans trust us to tell great stories, balance our budgets and open our doors wide so all can attend.
 

Help us meet these new challenges 

Our Endowment Fund makes it possible for us to produce more made-in-Manitoba productions, allows us to hire more actors each season and ensure our ticket prices remain affordable for all.  We want to remind our supporters of the opportunity for their gifts to qualify for the Canadian Heritage Program, which will be matched until 2012, and the additional $60,000 matching gift from The Winnipeg Foundation.  A donation to the Endowment Fund is a risk-free investment for the future that will keep on giving. We invite those who care about theatre to invest in us, so we can plan for the future, not just react to the present.
 

The purpose of the Endowment Fund is not to simply maintain the status quo.  The purpose is to aspire to excellence with each and every production.  MTC was here yesterday, is here today and now will be here tomorrow for our children and grandchildren.  We will continue to work toward growing our Endowment legacy, because our leaders had a vision to build a permanent economic foundation for the future, one donation at a time.
